Wirehaired Pointing Griffon
The dogs of this breed were used for the purpose of hunting. They are said to be very strong in nature. The skulls of the dogs of this breed are slightly rounded in nature when looked at the dog from the top. But when the dog is looked at from the viewed from the sideways direction, including the muzzle, the skull of the dog looks like it has a square shaped profile. The head of the dog, However shaped it is, is such that its size is in perfect proportion with the size of the rest of the body. The skull of the dog generally comes to a rather slight stop. The noses of the dogs are brown in color. The nose has the presence of a pair of wide nostrils. The nostrils are also open in nature.
The set of teeth of the dog usually meet to from a very strong and also an equally powerful scissor bite. The dogs belonging to this breed have the presence of rather large sized pair of eyes. These eyes are round shaped in nature. The color of the eyes tends to range from the color of yellow to the color of brown. The pair of ears of the dogs is medium sized in nature. They are set at a normal ear level. They are usually hanging down and they are also generally such that they are lying flat on the head of the dog. This dog has a very long neck. The neck however, does not have the presence of a dewlap.
When the length of the body and the height of the body of the dog are compared, it can be seen that the length of the body of the dog is slightly larger than the height of the body of the dog. The backs of these dogs tend to slope downwards slightly staring from the shoulders and ending at the rump. This dog is blessed with the ability of thinking independently without the help if the owner. The dogs belonging to this breed also have a very excellent, more exceptional, sense of small. They also posses in them a very great passion for what they do best, that is hunting.
